Alhambra Dinner Theater

For over 50 years the Alhambra has been an entertainment icon in Jacksonville. It is the oldest continually-operating dinner theater in the nation.  A broadway quality show combined with a three course meal makes for a night to remember!

The lounge is on the 9th floor overlooking the river with a view of the Fuller Warren bridge and the downtown skyline. Multiple group seating areas around fire tables (when it’s cold). Check their website for the live music schedule. This place is a hidden gem!!!

Wicked Barley

This dog friendly brewery sits on the water. They have an outdoor area with covered picnic tables, cornhole, and occasionally do events. We attended a luau with a hula dancer and fire spinner here. Great place to spend some time with family, friends and Spot!

Secret Tiki Temple

You must know the password to be admitted. Make a reservation and they will text it to you. In this bar, they don’t tell you what is in the drinks! You tell them what you like, and they help you choose. This is asian/hawaiian fusion, although the food is only appetizers. I enjoyed the spam fried rice and the flaming tiki tai!

The District

This place has an amazing outdoor space! Their “Peacock Garden” (named for the wall mural) is light and airy with lots of trees and shade. They also have a number of yurts available, climate controlled and eclectically decorated! My family enjoyed a great birthday celebration here!

Mavi Waterfront Bar and Grill

Mavi has a beautiful view of the Intercoastal Waterway. They occasionally offer live music. (see their website for schedule) They offer a wide variety of food, seafood, wings, burgers, etc.

Melting Pot

The Melting Pot specializes in a fondue experience. You choose the type of fondue and the foods for dipping. The fondue is prepared at your table in front of you. This is an entertaining and social meal.
